My opinion is it takes a big ass tube amp to drive MLs. MC3500 or
modified Altec 1570B or 260A.


I may never use tube amps. I'll never say never, but the cost is
just more than I want to incur for music. The guy who recommended the
ReQuest or the Prodigy also recommended a pair of Quicksilver V4s.
