Default A/D/S Speaker Question

hi all. i just ran across a 7" speaker pair from a/d/s. model number is
CS700, says 4 ohm subwoofer on them. if anyone has the specs it would be
great. i am looking for info on if they are indeed a subwoofer or a part
of a component set, free air or if they need an enclosure and specs, and
frequency range they play. thanks!

Default A/D/S Speaker Question

Fs= 42.5Hz
Vas=1.15 cf
Qts=.70
Qes=.90
Qms=4.2
Sd=27.38 sq"
Xmax= +/-.23"
Power req. was 90w max

As for enclosure info you want a 1cubic foot enclosure for subwoofer
application or if you wanted to do a midbass application then you would want
a .5 cubic foot enclosure with a bandpass crossover setting of 75hz-170hz.

Any other questions just let me know.

Yup the xover point is too high. As for enclosure sizes that is per woofer.

With a Qts of .70 they are actually intended for free-air use. They will
play up to 750 cycles no problem as they are probably ntended to play much
higher when mated to a dome.

The only problem you may run into is them not being sensitive enough to keep
up with the horns, you may run out of power handling or power at higher
levels.

What driver is on that horn that will allow you to cross down to 750 cycles
and still take healthy power?!
