Default WTB THATCORP VCA

I am looking for a couple of out of production VCAs made by THATCORP. I
do not have the exact model number but, it was the VCA they sold as a
direct replacement for the VCAs in SSL 4000 series consoles. Anyone
know where I can lay my hands on a couple of those?

Thanks

Hard to believe that they had out of production chips
already. They have just barely started producing chips
and shipping them. They do make replacements for
some part numbers that have gone out of production
by other vendors (SSL, TI, etc.)

Likely your best source of info would be the horses'
mouth: http://www.thatcorp.com/

Actually, this is a "can" THATCORP used to advertise in Mix Mag and
elsewhere as a direct replacement for the fader/Channel VCA in SSL 4000
series consoles. I think it also was a drop in replacement for the VCA
found in the Stereo Buss compressor.

Still looking.

Thanks...

What did THATCORP say?
They are likely still a small enough operation that you
could speak directly to the marketing manager.
