Default LP to CD project

I have a day off so I'm going to have some fun and try my first LP to CD
transfers. I decided to use the computer rather than the CD recorder.
I'm going to try using Audacity, and possibly also GarageBand, since I
have them both.

It will be fun to see if, as others have stated, the LP and the CD will
sound exactly the same.

You'll probably be surprised at how much better an LP sounds when the
surface noise is eliminated during the soft parts. At least I was.
