Default preamp advice

just wanted to express thankfulness to the people of the group - this
is my first post but not the first read - for great advices on setting
up a home studio. I want to start recording music at home after years
of experiences with a band and decided to go for lynxtwo, at4050,
Sennheiser HD-580 for a start. Now, I need some advice on mic preamp
(up to 500$). Vocals are really important to me, since I'm singer
above all. My voice sounds like some mixture od Thom Yorke and Bono, I
don't know if that matters but anyway...
and another thing. since I live in Eastern Europe (Croatia) - are
there any good overseas sellers in USA since the prices much lower
than here.
thnx for answers

I love my Summit Audio 2BA-221. It's a great preamp for my vocals.

Cheers,

I use a Grace 101 that I bought new for $575.00. Quality product,
clean sounding "wire with gain" kind of thing.

I hate to sound like a skipping CD but the FMR RNP is a great stereo pre for
about $500. The Grace stuff is also very good but the 101 is only one channel.
