was flashing "check" this morning. i checked the manual

and it indicates "system error due to noise or static elect."

i believe my power went out last night, as PC was restarted, but the
CDR850 is plugged into a UPS

i've unplugged and restarted, but no luck. does anyone have any tips?
(i think the obvious one is "head to the repair shop")

on that note, can anyone recommend a decent tech in denver area? i can
check for an authorized dealer monday, but if anyone could recommend
someone i'd rather have that.
