The part about placing your amplifier above your speakers is clearly wrong.
In a copper wire, the free electrons each weigh about 118,000 times LESS
than the ions in the stationary copper lattice. Because of this, electrons
tend to float in the denser atoms. Therefore, for €śfast€ť bass, you should
put the amp BELOW the speakers, so that the electrons can float upwards.

I tell you, there are so many misconceptions out there...

Everybody knows that you should ultrasonically weld the layer of silver
onto the copper wire. Electroplating uses up all the free electrons.

Extends the HF response too.

Is that what is referred to as "floater"? I'm a noobee, I dunno. I like fast bass anyways.

Neglect of those tired electrons that have to battle against gravity
crawling back down the return wire to the amp? That won't do.

I'm not a fan of fast bass. I find the last few bars of the tune lack
a certain depth when the bass player has already packed up and gone
home.

By the by Cardas speculates that electrons are not traveling thru the wire, but that they pulse
(bump each other) sending the signal through.??

Yep, I could never understand why anybody would want the bass player to
play faster than the rest of the group anyway? Or the drummer. Keep in
time people!

Not electrical, but physical. My self-built LS3-5As are lined not with
bituminous sheet, but lead sheet. Not so good for light music, but just
GREAT for Heavy Metal !

If they have mass, and they are in a gravitational field, then they
have weight.

Maybe, but nobody has the weight like Levon Helm and Mavis Staples.

Doesn't anything that has mass also have weight in the presence of gravity?

My theory about cables is that they are long and skinny. This is because
if they were short and fat they would not go all the way. They are made
with connectors at either end, but they are never the right connectors.
This is why there is a bag of adaptors next to the bag of cables. Cables
are transmission lines except what they are not. That is my theory about
cables.
