toggle switch
im new with all of this electrical stuff......i just bought a toggle
switch to turn my amp on and off. the toggle switch has 2 prongs on the back. all i have is the toggle switch...what else do i need to hook this up. |

Run one side of the switch to the remote turn-on of the amp, and the other side to a 12 volt source. |

You'll also need an amp, a car and a battery. :-) Kidding aside, make sure you only put the toggle switch on the amp's turn-on lead--NOT the main power wire. But this all begs the question "Why are you doing this?" Does your radio not have an amp turn-on lead? -dan |
