Default Infinity Reference Standard RS-8a Speakers

Infinity RS-8a Speakers, $109pr

Image: http://members.aol.com/KDresch/rs-8a.html

Infinity Reference Standard bookshelf speakers, model RS-8a. This 3-way system
contains a 6 1/2" woofer, 4" midrange and 1 1/2" polydome tweeter. Overall
condition (cabinets and grills) is excellent with a few minor scratches and
dings. Fully functional. Beware, most speakers of this age will have bad woofer
foam. Not with this pair as I just expertly installed new foam for another 20
years service. Speakers measure 22'' high and 12" wide. The cabinets are very
thick MDF and quite heavy, being indicative of the excellent build quality of
these speakers. These are a nice sounding set of speakers that would make a
great set of starter speakers or a good set for your den or a second room. Nice
solid acoustic suspension bass for a smaller set of speakers while the midrange
is warm and transparent. The highs are exceptionally clean and airy as they are
in all of infinity's fine speakers.

These listed for $350 pr. in the mid 1980s. Only $109 pr. plus shipping and $10
packing fee. (54lbs net, 65lbs gross pair)
