FA: Fisher stereo system components (80's) CD, tuner, half tape
Here you go-
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=150018139431 I had it listed before, but discovered that the amp is burned out or something. You get output, but it's grainy and cuts out from time to time. Initially I thought it was the cheap arcade speakers I was using, but found otherwise. It's in decent shape and is pretty much tested WORKING!. The only other problem I see is the right tape player on the dual cassette deck isn't working. I press play, but it just sits. I rigged up some speakers and confirmed that both A and B channels work on left and right sides.- So, everything except the right tape deck and the amp outputs functionally works. I know- 'bad amp? That's the heart of the system'. Maybe the rest of it is good for someone. I hooked up the inputs from the CD and tape player and they both produce output. You can see them come up and start playing too. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There are a few scratches on some of the pieces, but not real noticable depending on how you stack them. There is a manufacture date in the 80's on them. This is what you get: * Stereo tuner FM-871 * Stereo Cassette Deck CRW-870A * Compact Disc AD-871 Of course, if you have any use for the amplifier, Stereo Amp CA-870A, you can have that too. It's the heaviest piece in the system. My brother-in-law said he intercepted this from getting tossed out. I guess someone got a repair estimate for the deck that wasn't worth it on an older system. Their loss- your gain. See the pictures for the labels and the lights. I had a similar system when I was a lot younger and I thought the blue LED's were the coolest thing in a dark room. Reply » |
