Great Danes typically are short lived, I think.

Or is that doggie racism? Is any observation about biological
differences between breeds of dog "racist"? If not, why is that not
equally true of other animals?

Large dogs are typically short lived.
Large humans are, too.
It has nothing to do with race, other
than that you have two pygmy sized pimple-like heads.
