DP4 question on overdubbing....
"pJamStudio" wrote in message om... I must be missing something in DP4. When a track is record enabled I cannot hear it playback. So if I've recorded a track and want to overdub a portion of it I record enable the track but then I cannot hear what was recorded previously so I have no idea when to punch in. Yes, I've read the manual, all ~900 pages!, yes I've clicked the "Overdub" button. What am I missing? Thanks Relating only to other experience.... is there not both an "input" and an "Auto-input" option? On most gear that I'm familiar with, "input" means you're constantly hearing the input to that channel and not the track. But "auto-input" allows for listening to the existing track until you punch. -- David Morgan (MAMS) http://www.m-a-m-s.com http://www.artisan-recordingstudio.com |

You also have to set a track to playback for regular purposes in the tracks/waveform window. Mike http://www.mmeproductions.com |
