Default in-dash cd/mp3 player suggestions

Hi,
I currently have the sony CDX M8800 and I am looking to replace it,
I find it tends to skip alot more than my old Pioneer head unit used to. It
seems to be very sensitive and I have checked its mounting and tightened the
screws holding it in place.

I am looking for a Mp3/cd player unit with about 22*4 w rms outputs and 3
4volt outputs for amps.

Does anyone have any suggestions on units they have used that are not
sensitive to a bumps? (I know this is very subjective but I am sick of
listening to a song and hearing it skip)
Thanks
