Peugeot 306 Clarion stereo problem
I bought a used Peugeot 2294B(D) cd player/stereo to replace the original
cassette player (9990B) in my 1997 306 P reg. The ISO leads fit, but the steering stalk connector from the car that did fit into the old cassette player, doesn't fit the used cd player. Is there an adaptor that will help here? Also when starting the car the radio asks for the code and the stereo's memory is wiped. |

Yeah, the radio has a security code that has to be entered once the power has
been disconnected. This is to prevent stolen units from being used. You will need to obtain the code from the seller, or persuade a Peugeot dealer to decode it from the radio serial number. There are some online sites that provide this service too. http://www.dekodes.com/ for instance Cookacat wrote: I bought a used Peugeot 2294B(D) cd player/stereo to replace the original cassette player (9990B) in my 1997 306 P reg.
