An Eclipse 5443 CD headunit July of '99 and I still love it, works
perfectly. Now I want to purchase an iPod and use it in the car but I
don't want to resort to using an FM modulator like the iTrip.

The only "in" on my headunit is the proprietary E-COM connection,
correct? I have no CD changer, DSP or navigation unit so the E-COM port
is free. Is there any chance of getting the iPod hooked up?
