FS: two vintage tube 'project' amps
Watterson integrated hifi amp: Model 4801. The unit is missing the
transformers. It does pass signal, but I have no way of knowing if it actually works. The tubes are not included -but originally it had a 12SA7, (2x)12SK7, 12SQ7, 7C5, and one other that I can't find a number for. The chassis measures 13.25" x 5.5" x 1.5", and would make a good project bed. Even if the amp can't be rehabbed, the parts alone are worth a few bucks. You can also have the original faceplate -but the knobs are missing. AIRLINE Hi-Fi Integrated Amp/Tuner/Turntable Model WG2602 A. I've dated it by parts to 1955. AM tuner, 2x6Bq5 power amp, faceplate, NO knobs, and turntable -ALL IN WORKING ORDER. The unit was tested and functions properly. It has a paper wound xformer and the antennae is still attached. The tubes are NOT included. Probably develops 10-12 watts. Chassis measures 12.5" x 4.5" x 2.25". TUBE ORDER: 6BQ5, 5Y3, 6BQ5, 6AV6, 6BA6, 6BE6, 6BA6, 12AX7. Neither one of these sold on eBay. I'm not very interested in working on amps these days, so they're just sitting. If you can use them, make me a reasonable offer and pay for shipping. (By reasonable, I mean 5 bucks or more - contact me he Chuck |
