FA: Yamaha DGX 500, KORG es-1 and Fostex 4 track
Musicians and DJ's, here you go!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3721806322 This auction is for a Brand New ONLY USED ONCE Yamaha DGX-500 and a new, used KORG ES-1 Rythm Production Sampler with Smartmedia Memory Card! And, as a special, if you use the BUY IT NOW feature, I will throw in a Fostex 4 Track Recorder! The DGX500 is the first Portable Keyboard with piano keys and is the flagship in a new series of instruments from Yamaha called Portable Grand™. It is packed with functions and features designed specifically for the new piano user. Included with the DGX500 is a furniture-type stand that completes its piano image. The Yamaha Portable Grand feature in the DGX500 is immediately apparent when you see the large, piano-shaped button in the center of the front panel. When you push it, the best piano is automatically chosen, the auto-accompaniment is turned off, putting the keyboard in full keyboard mode — just like a piano. When you want to record your playing, just press record, the track button you want to record on, and start playing. It's that easy. When you're done, save your song internally or to the floppy disk drive as a Standard MIDI File (SMF) to make it compatible with other General MIDI keyboards as well as most computers. Then simply pop the disk out of the drive and insert it in your computer. With over 600 voices to choose from, the combinations are only limited by your imagination. 3.5" Floppy Disk Drive opens up a Whole New World The DGX500 has a 3.5" disk drive allowing it to communicate with the world. You can download a song file from the literally thousands of songs on the Internet onto a 3.5" disk in your computer, then take the same disk, insert it into the instrument and play the song. You can also purchase professionally made MIDI song files and education software with music from your local music store. Conveniently, the backlit display allows you to select a song from the disk by name. To play the song, just push the start button, sit back, and enjoy. And finally, even though the DGX500 comes with a generous amount of built-in music styles, the disk drive opens up the ability to load in even more styles for you to enjoy. And guess what, the Internet is alive with people exchanging styles that they have created on hi-end Yamaha keyboards. The disk drive will allow you to save and organize your favorite data for years to come. Yamaha Education Suite™ Learning to play songs and chords The DGX500 comes with 100 built-in songs with Songbook. But if you've never played before, where do you start? Well, if learning to play music is important to you, the Yamaha Education Suite II, a wonderful set of music training functions, makes learning music incredibly easy. Seven types of lessons are available as well as a convenient chord dictionary. Three keyboard lessons for each hand Timing mode: You can play the melody or chord by pressing any key using the correct timing. Waiting mode: Playback pauses until you find and play the correct chord or melody note. Minus One mode: Mute the left-hand, right-hand, or both parts of a song and play along nonstop. Lesson Grading — monitors your progress as you practice each lesson. Chord Dictionary — shows you how to play chords and tells you which chords you are playing by displaying the notes and chord name on the LCD screen. Sound Quality 2-Way Speaker System Separate tweeters deliver high frequency sounds with clarity and precision for more lifelike instrument voices. Bass Boost System A special port on each speaker adds a powerful impact to bass sound reproduction. Stereo (Not just 2 Speakers) We all know that stereo sound adds realistic character and spatial depth. But how can you tell if the portable keyboard you're looking to purchase is stereo or not? With Yamaha, the answer is simple. All Yamaha Portable Keyboards are true stereo. Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Enhances sound quality with sophisticated digital effects like Reverb, Chorus & Echo effects. Advanced Wave Memory (AWM) Yamaha Advanced Wave Memory technology delivers amazingly realistic sound. Keyboard Styles and the One Touch Setting The DGX500 includes a huge assortment of 135 built-in styles that cover all genres of music waiting for you to play along with. It's just like having a built-in band. 32-Note Polyphony "Polyphony" is how many notes a keyboard can reproduce simultaneously. As with many things, more is often better. Some keyboards in this price range have 16, 24 or 28-note Polyphony. The DGX500 has a full 32-note Polyphony allowing you to play intricate instrumental arrangements and dense musical passages. Computer Connectivity The Floppy Disk Drive makes it easy to transfer files between your computer and your Yamaha keyboard, but for those who would rather connect the two directly together, Yamaha makes it easy. On the back of the keyboard, you'll find a special MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) port that lets you connect your keyboard to your computer (requires a MIDI Interface like the UX16 and music software). PLUS WITH THIS AUCTION, YOU GET... KORG ES-1 Rythm Production Sampler with SMARTMEDIA Memory Card! Sample and Go! The Electribe S is a new type of sampler that doesn't simply play back a recorded sound — it lets you aggressively process the samples to create your own signature sound. Play any sound or phrase in and use the pitch, filter, and effects knobs to drastically alter the sample. Slice Loops with Time Slice Chop a sampled phrase or sound into pieces with the Electribe S Time Slice function. Time Slice detects the attacks of each part within a loop (e.g., bass drum, snare, and hi-hat), so that these parts can be massaged separately. You can also use the knobs to modify the tone of a phrase processed by Time Slice, creating complex patterns from a simple loop or phrase. Realtime Resampling With the resampling function, you can apply effects to a previously-recorded sample and then resample the result. You can even resample while modifying parameters such as pitch in realtime, and create even more new sounds with absolutely no deterioration in audio quality. Instant Rhythm Creation Assign sampled sounds to up to 10 parts, then use the step sequencer to create rhythm patterns. The step sequencer's 16 pads divide a measure (or 2 measures) into 16 parts. You decide where you want each sound to play by touching the desired keypads to create a pattern. And with the touch of a button you can add rolls or reverse playback for each part, so you can easily create highly complex rhythms that used to take ages to program in. Sequence Function You're in complete control of sound alteration. With the Motion Sequence function, every tweak of a knob can be recorded as part of the rhythm pattern. Alter your tone at will on each part using one of the following parameters: pitch, filter, level, or pan. Then, with the Motion Sequence assign effect on/off, roll, and reverse playback for each part (all three can be recorded per part). Plus you can apply an Effect Motion Sequence (a motion sequence for effect parameters) and a Delay Motion Sequence to the entire pattern. Radical Sample Processing: In addition to a master delay effect, you get a built-in effects processor with 11 types of effects, that can be switched on/off for each part. The 11 types include basic effects such as Reverb and Flanger/Chorus, as well as unique effects like Decimator, Isolator, and Resonant Filter. Effect parameters can be edited using the knobs, and knob movements can be used as part of the rhythm pattern in the form of a Motion Sequence. The sound processed by the effects can also be sampled again. The internal memory of the Electribe S can hold 128 user patterns. Combine up to 256 patterns/steps to create a song, which can be stored in one of 16 internal song memories. Store your Data with Smart Media The Electribe S provides a Smart Media slot for storing data. 3.3 V Smart Media ranging from 4 MB to 64 MB can be used to store your own sampled sounds, patterns, and songs. The Electribe S can also load AIFF and WAV files via Smart Media, allowing you to take advantage of sampled data stored on your computer. The Word is in... The Electribe's thick, meaty analog sounds are making their own unique contribution to global mayhem. But we're not done with our radical donation to the rhythmic revolution. Introducing the Electribe S, a sampler with a sound that is as fat and gritty as ever. And in true Electribe fashion, the Electribe S is packed with tweakable knobs for extreme sound editing, and 16 pad keys to program rhythm patterns and break beats. AND ONLY IF YOU USE THE BUY IT NOW FEATURE, YOU GET THIS, TOO! FOSTEX 4 Track Recorder Easy Operation Once recorded, your tracks can be mixed using the 4 level faders, placed on the stereo stage using the independent pan controls, and monitored on headphones or via the RCA pin line output. Separate L/R line outs means the X-12 can be connected to a Hi-Fi, powered speakers, or standard 2-track cassette deck for final stereo mastering of your composition. Great care and attention has been paid to the design and usability of this compact unit to ensure easy and simple operation straight out of the box. Just plug in the power cord, pop in a C90, connect your instrument or mic, select a track, press record, and start making music. Hiss-Free Recordings And, being Fostex, you have the tools to ensure great sounding music, too. Hiss-free recording is all about getting the most out of the available headroom on the tape. In short, you need to maximize the input gain of your instrument or mic without overloading. Too little gain and you get an excess of hiss, too higher gain, and the signal will distort. To achieve the best balance, the X-12 features a low-noise mic/instrument input with the addition of a rotary gain control and an illuminated level meter. By adjusting the gain whilst watching the meter you can achieve the best signal to noise ratio. Aiding quality still further is the new tape transport which has been re-engineered from previous models and includes a larger flywheel which enhances reliability, ensuring consistent recording quality. Musical Sketch Pad Highly portable and robust the new, low-cost Fostex X-12 Multitracker is a blast to use, has the tools you need and looks pretty cool too. For grabbing inspiration when it comes nothing beats it. DO THE MATH! Keyboard = $700.00 Sampler = $450.00 Mem Card = $50.00 4 Track = $100.00 TOTAL = $1250.00 BUY IT ALL NOW FOR $900! What a savings! Serious bidders only please! |
