I have a few Shure MX393's (omnis and cardiods). I haven't had any
issues with them but they are the only tabletops I've had extensive
experience with (other than dedicated videoconferencing mics ). I need
to get a couple more and thought I'd check in see if anyone had any
opinions / alternative recommendations before I go with a few more
MX393's.

I also have a handful of Shure 819's without power supplies. Would the
819's have comparable performance if I got power supplies for them
instead?
