Default a decent car mp3 CD player

hello all,
Any recommendations for a good car in-dash mp3 CD player ?

These are the things i am looking for

* less than $200
* need not be the latest technology like satellite radio interface, but
not obsolete also
* MOST important, a good USER-INTERFACE. No difficult to use buttons,
dials, joysticks etc., I see a certain player use a joy stick for next
song !! imagine hitting a bump while driving & handling. Easy
search/navigation to different songs/folders. Should start, where it
left off, when powered back.

* need NOT be powerful ( lot of watts ). i have only standard
toyotta-corolla factory speakers

* lot of MP3 info on console
* NO need for jazzy/colorful face
* decent fidelity and good bass
* skip-free on bumpy roads
* i have no plans for active sub-woofers or amps
* preferably a wireless remote control

Actually i installed the first model SONY mp3 player in 2001 and very
pleased with that for 1 yr. Sold the car and never used any mp3 car
player till now. Little out of touch with current trends/market. so
looking for a equally, if not better quality one.

thx
alex

I have used Alpine, Sony and Pioneer. I like the Alpines interface. Not
the fanciest, but the easiest ergonomically by far.

Goto crutchfield.com and look at the models in your price range. Almost
all of Alpines models are set up the same.

I had an older 7894 model and got a Pioneer 8600mp. While I like the
Pioneer, its miles behind in ergonomics. Its really cumbersome to move
around within the unit. Alpine has a more simple, smarter design, where
almost all the controls can be done on the left side of the unit-no
reaching over to the far side.
