Default Exporting individual drum pieces in FL Studio

Hey folks,

Anyone ever come across the problem where you need a drum part for a
mix, but you want each piece individually? (i.e. snare, kick,
cymbal(s), etc.) I don't have a recorder w/more than 2 inputs so I
can't do it live. I tried looking for software that can do this. Can
FL do it? If not, can anything else do it?

Thanks,
Kris

What? You want to take apart a 2-track drum mix in pieces? Or you want
to do a set of drum tracks as overdubs one at a time? Or you want to
synthesize the whole drum track with samples? I am not sure what you
are asking to do.

Yeah, I had a feeling about that.

When mixing together a song, for the drum kit part, I use either the
drums voice on my Yamaha keyboard or sequencing software--so when I
export to put into mixing software, all the pieces of the drum kit
(snare, bass, toms) are one collective track. I'd try live drums, but
my digital recorder only has two inputs, so there's no payoff in doing
things that way.

My question is if there's a software that will let you put together an
entire drum track, but also export each piece's part--i.e. if I could
export the snare part ONLY, the kick part only, etc., so I can bring
it all into the mixing software.

This is ultimately so I can get better mixes for the drums when I mix
songs down.

Hope that clears it up,
Kris

when i make drum tracks on my computer, i have 4 instances of native
instruments battery running so that i can solo each individual limb if
i need too. if you wanna separate it later, your gonna have to create
it separate...

if you have probs, or need advice, email me.

ive been playin drums for over 10 years, and have done lots of drum
oriented music stuff on my computer. not trying to brag. sorry. just
wanna help. if people would have helped me when i started out, i would
have learned alot more more fast.

ChristopheRonald,

What's a "native instrument battery"?

So you totally get what I'm trying to do.. What do you think is the
best way to go about doing it?
