These are the same as the series 2, except the series 2 brought out the
tweeter & woofer connections to the rear binding posts.

The B&W Matrix 3 has the classic "British" B&W sound, and is preferred
by some over the 801 (for example). It has 2 x 8" drivers and a paper
cone/dome tweeter on top, floor standing with a small footprint. Very
WAF "accepted".
