If the trigger for the parking light is 12 volt pulse, then the pulse
coming out of the alarm should be 12 volt (+) positive pulse. What
vehicle is it? Did you verify that you got the parking lights with a
digital multimeter?

Default alpine alram help needed

I just installed an Alpine SEC 8028 alarm in my car and the parking
lights wont flash. Everything else works but the lights wont flash when
I arm or disarm. There are only 2 wires..one is the ground and one is
for the lights. There both hooked up the way they should be. Theres a
built in relay for them so a another shouldn't need to be added, right?

Im out of ideas and things to recheck.

I didn't use a meter I went by the wiring chart (schematics). Its a 92
escort without the premium sound. If I read it right the alarm wanted
the 12v wire to go to the parking light wire and the other wire to a
chasis ground.
