Default New Zoom H4N portable digital recorder

A new crop of portable digital recorders is coming out, including one
from Zoom that looks quite interesting. Deals with some of the
shortcomings of the previous H4 model, and adds new and improved
functionality and features. Could be a winner...

Some photos, the mics look vulnerable.

Pretty much same as the original in that regard. I have several friends
that have the H4 and none of them have screwed-up the mics, yet.

The H4 mics have a sturdy metal guard around each mic and are fixed at 90
degrees,perhaps the H4n has a better(rugged) wind sock.
Exposed variable-angled mics on a portable recorder seems to be asking for
trouble.
The 'reviews' at the moment are all reading from the Zoom script.
