Lexicon Core 32 with Win XP?
I had a Win 95 machine running the Core #@ card for an O2R ADAT interface
setup. Has anyone used the Core 32 with XP? Does it work reliably? Should I sell the card now? John A. Chiara SOS Recording Studio Live Sound Inc. Albany, NY www.sosrecording.net 518-449-1637 |

I'm using one as a standalone dual FX processor on an ASUS P2B-LS with a PII
350 running Win 98 routing via lightpipe and spdif to other DAWs through a digital patchbay. I've never once tried to record any audio with it. ;O) "Blind Joni" wrote in message ... I'm not intentionally being negative, but I've mostly heard of hardware compatibility problems with Core 32. Mind you, I guess you only mostly hear from people with problems..... geoff |

I forget which Lexi driver I'm using, but it's not the most recent ancient
one, but the second to last most recent ancient one which was much more stable........a relative thing. I haven't touched or modified this machine other than to do general cleaning and maintenance (replaced a PSU) in about 4 years and don't want to. It's stable, it works and I've got a couple of PCM 90's (well sort of............without the plates) available when I need them. I think I paid $200.00 for the hardware back in '99. When the HD dies, if I can't get it working smoothly again, I'll probably just buy a couple of old LXP-1's/MRC, They sound (at 32KHz) 1000% better than the newer crap that's coming out these days anyway.
