Yeah, I tried it a few seconds ago from your first post.

**The product, or the link?

Are you being helpful, or wasting my time?

I bought one for my 10kW sound system in January. Excellent unit, extremely
versatile. No problems so far. The more I played with it, the more I
discovered that could be done in ways that I had not considered before.
All of the functions work in reality as they would appear to in theory. The
filters are accurate, for instance.
The electrical performance of the DCX2496 is excellent, with a flat response
to 39KHz (our lab tested it). s/n is up around 114dB, so it won't add hiss
to your PA.
Considering the amount of features, performance and ease of setup, it's an
unbeatable bang for the buck.

If I were to nitpick, it is only my audiophile ears and the type of music we
sometimes do here that raise two issues that Behringer would address in
firmware updates if enough people requested it:

The filters are tuneable down to 20 Hz. I would like to have them tuneable
as far down as 15 Hz, because there are some things going on down there that
I don't want to roll off (pipe organ 32' pedal stops are 16 Hz.)

The Zero attack limiter should have an option to slow the attack from
0-300mS, so that peaks that breach the threshold won't 'suck out'. Midrange
drivers can handle higher peak power levels for brief transients, so this
strategy can make a 3,000W PA with slow attack limiters have the same
'whacking power' as a 10,000W PA with the zero attack limiters.

Outside of these two minor nitpicks, the DCX2496 is impossible to duplicate
in another brand at anywhere near that price range. I've seen one go as
cheap as $250 on eBay last month. Deals are out there.

**Thanks a bunch for the feedback. It sounds like just the solution I've
been searching for with my present job.
