Alarm problem: Clifford Cyber 3
Hey everyone,
I have a Clifford Cyber 3 Alarm that I've had for about 5 years or so. Recently I can't get my remote to program. I flick the valet switch the proper amount of times, then I'm supposed to press a button for the alarm to recognize the remote. For some reason, when I press the remote button (to program it) it doesn't do anything. I tried everything I could to "reset" the brain (although I'm not sure if I did it properly). That involved disconnecting the battery, which didn't work. Then I took out the fuses for the alarm and put them back. Then I unplugged the brain and plugged it back in. Still no luck. I'm not too experienced with alarm installations. Anyone think the brain itself might be the problem? Maybe someone on this group had a similar problem. Also, another option was to change my alarm, but I'm a student on a strict budget. if I was to change the alarm, I would not be getting a high end brand name, I'd probably get like "Avital" or "AutoStart" or something. Thanks for any responses |
