Default Newbie question: Any good resources on audio production?

www.prorec.com
www.studiofreaks.com
www.futureproducers.com

most of these are forums (like Usenet) that have producers and artists who
exchange ideas, tips, etc. If you need some pointers i'd be more than happy
to give you some help, ive been working out my own label for about 2 years
now. (Street Anthems Productions) but note that your topic is in the wrong
group...that will get you shot around here, these dudes on this group are
some crazy sons of bitches.

Hi everyone

I'm a newbie in the world of audio production.
I'm especially interested in digital audio and
sound engineering.

Can anyone recommend some good books or websites
about the topic?

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,
