Aux Inputs on Kenwood KDC 4070RV?
Hi,
I have a Kenwood 4070RV in my car which is a single CD and tuner. Works well, except I now have a Creative Zen NX MP3 player which means I can, in theory, have heaps of music in the car. My problem is that the 4070RV has no cassette, so I can't use a standard cd / cassette adaptor to plug the MP3 player into the car (basically a phono-type input would work too). My questions a 1. Does anyone know if the 4070RV has an aux type connectors out the back? I suspect not. 2. Does anyone know of any (relatively simple) way of hooking up exeternal devices to a car stereo that has no aux inputs? Thanks heaps, DjP |

I don't know how old your unit is but current Kenwoods that I have
seen and those running back a few years can be expanded with a cable. It connects to the CD changer socket and ends in RCA sockets , costs 40-50 US. Normally all but the cheapest models have a changer socket on them . HTH. 2. Does anyone know of any (relatively simple) way of hooking up exeternal devices to a car stereo that has no aux inputs?
