2001 Ranger Rear Speaker Wires - Help!
Hi Everyone,
I'm finally getting around to putting in rear speakers in my 2001 Ford Ranger. It's your basic 5-speed, 4-cyl. regular bed truck. I know there are rear speaker grilles, but when I took them off, I could not find *any* wiring back there!!!! I remember when I put in the JVC CD in-dash that there were rear speaker wires in the harness on the truck side, but I cannot figure out where they run to! I also tried looking under the door plastics that are held on by 4 screws. Would someone please shed some light on this for me? Thanks in advance, Dave dgf999 a t yahoo.com __________________________________________________ ________________ David ICQ#: 29866675 Current ICQ status: + More ways to contact me __________________________________________________ ________________ |

2001 Ranger Rear Speaker Wires - Help!
Thanks, but I don't think this would help because there are no rear speakers
in the truck currently. I'm trying to install a pair of rear speakers, but I cannot find the speaker wires running from the wiring harness from the dash. When I took off the rear speaker grilles, there were no wires to be found at all. I looked under the jack and the bottom door panels as well. I'm thinking that Ford just clipped the wires short from the connector on the harness for the rear speakers if none were to be installed... That is, unless someone out there knows where these rear speaker wires are routed.... "Gravity" wrote in message ...
