Default FS: Portable 24-Bit/96 KS/s DAT Recorder Replacement (PDAudio & Mic2496)

Core Sound is shipping PDAudio-CF and Mic2496. Together they turn a
PocketPC PDA (e.g., an HP iPAQ) into a high resolution digital audio
recorder.

PDAudio-CF is a compact flash interface card that plugs into a PDA,
laptop or desktop PC and accepts both coaxial and digital S/PDIF digital
audio at up to 24-bit/192 KS/s. It's priced at $199.

Mic2496 is a handheld, low noise dual microphone pre-amp/A-to-D
converter that runs on a single 9 Volt battery for more than 6 hours,
provides true 48 Volt phantom power and outputs both coaxial and optical
digital audio at 24-bits and sample rates up to 192 KS/s. It's priced
at $499.
