"fried egg tweeters"

I see people call both Advent and AR tweeters "fried egg" tweeters. Actually
the Advent tweeter doesn't look like a fried egg to me. It is orange though.

Now the older dome tweeter used in the AR-3a and AR-2a has a look more in line
with the yoke of a "fried egg". This is the 1 3/8" tweeter not the smaller
3/4" dome used in latter models. I think this is the real "fried egg" tweeter.

Any comments? Will the real "fried egg" tweeter please identify yourself!

Yolk, not yoke. "Beat in the yolks of two large eggs." "His yoke is easy and his
burden light."

The Advent tweeter has a "border" that suggests the congealed white of a fried
egg, color notwithstanding. The AR (and similar tweeters) do not.
