MB Quart vs Rainbow Audio
Better? Only your ears can answer that question. You may also want to
listen to the Polk Momo speakers. "Dave" wrote in message ... hi all, I am carefully researching different speaker brands, and so far, the top on my list is MB Quart. I am still considering other brands such as a/d/s Image Dynamics, Focal, etc. One brand that someone mentioned I should try is Rainbow. I cannot find any reviews about Rainbow products anywhere. Has anyone here ever had the opportunity to listen to any Rainbow brand coaxial or component speakers, particularly the Sound Line's? I wont have the chance to audition them in person because they are not sold at any car audio shops where I live. I am especially interested in knowing how they perform at high volume levels, and if their tweeters are overly bright. Rainbow Audio seems to have little or no marketing strategy, so I don't know what kind of reputation they have. Would MB Quart be better, or would Rainbow be better? I'm also in the market for a subwoofer. Are MB Quart subwoofers any good? No one seems to talk about them. How do they compare to a JL or Infinity sub? I like MB Quart tweeters and midrange drivers, but I haven't heard their subs. Are they intended more for SPL or SQ? Thanks, Dave |

most brands offer many speakers from entry to high end, so just naming a
particular company doesn't help much. it's like saying i'm considering a chevy, how do they compare to ford? which chevy? which ford? I don't recall hearing Quart subs, but I assume the design philosophy is the same, meaning good quality sound. I have MB Quart speakers up front, and 2 8" Infinity subs in a custom enclosure. I think the sound is excellent. |
