Default trouble with power

hey
in a toyota corolla seca, following the power cables from the engine bay
into the inside of the car.
once the power cable has been run through into the car i am having trouble
finding it. There is a fan unit, is there anyway to find the cable without
taking this off, or is it just easier to take off.
