Default N.O.N.E. - THREAD DE-RAILER FROM MASSACHUSETTS

This individual:

- Actively tracks those it does not like or agree with on Usenet.

- Verbally assaults them with foul language and name-calling.

- Posts personal/legal information about them on Usenet without
their consent.

- Derails/kills otherwise good threads and conversations with its
diatribe.

YOU MUST:

1. NOT REPLY to anything it posts. That cannot be over-
emphasized.

2. IGNORE all foul-language-laced contributions from it.

3. Report any instance of N.O.N.E.'s derogatory dialogue via the
reporting feature of your particular news-reader - EVEN IF it is
not directed at you. Include any and all IP addresses, and attempts
to ascertain its physical location in your reporting.

IT IS CONTENT LIKE THAT which is contributing to the demise
of intelligent, cogent, free exchange of thought across venues
such as Usenet. And it can and WILL be stopped.

This individual:
- Actively tracks those it does not like or agree with on Usenet.

Don't flatter yourself, sunshine. I find you polluting several
newsgroups that I like to read. You're not worth tracking.

- Verbally assaults them with foul language and name-calling.

Poor baby! Do you really think that when you post "f ck" you're not
using that same word I usually spell out in full? It's OK for you, but
you whine when others do it (this is a pattern with you).

- Posts personal/legal information about them on Usenet without
their consent.

I never posted anything about you that you hadn't already posted on
the internet. Maybe you should have thought before posting it.
D^mbf^ck. (Can I call you that, since I played K-rybaby games with the
spelling? Ot is it just OK for you, but you whine when I do it?)

- Derails/kills otherwise good threads and conversations with its
diatribe.

Aw, you mean after you've already crapped all over a formerly-good
thread? Name one otherwise good thread that I've "killed". No thread
that starts with you blubbering about things you refuse to understand
can be considered "good".

YOU MUST:

Hehe. Do you fantasize about having authority to tell others what to
do?

1. NOT REPLY to anything it posts. That cannot be over-emphasized.

Then why do you respond to me so often? It's OK for you, but you whine
when others do it (this is a pattern with you). I think you're
overemphasizing.

2. IGNORE all foul-language-laced contributions from it.

Then why do you pay so much attention to me? Can't you even follow
your own orders? It's OK for you, but you whine when others do it
(this is a pattern with you). Face it, you don't have what it takes to
ignore me. This whole rant of yours is clear proof of that
embarrassing fact. You ignored me so hard, you started a whole thread
about me! Ignore this, shortbus!

3. Report any instance of N.O.N.E.'s derogatory dialogue via the
reporting feature of your particular news-reader

Good newsreaders have no such nonsense feature. Have you been
reporting me to your crappy gurglegroups? How's that working out for
you so far? Are they doing anything about your K-rybaby whining? Do
you really think Gurgle gives a ****? Or even a f*ck?

- EVEN IF it is not directed at you. Include any and all IP
addresses, and attempts to ascertain its physical location in your
reporting.

So you're actively tracking me? It's OK for you, but you whine when
others do it (this is a pattern with you). Would finding my physical
location make you feel less inadequate?

IT IS CONTENT LIKE THAT which is contributing to the demise of
intelligent, cogent, free exchange of thought across venues such as
Usenet.

Dumb****s like you do more to damage Usenet than those that mock you,
but Usenet is pretty resilient. Nothing is stopping you from
intelligent, cogent, free exchange of thought, except the fact that
you're not intelligent enough to make a cogent post (or follow basic
Usenet conventions).

And it can and WILL be stopped.

Whatever you say, li'l buddy. Does it make you feel powerful when you
make-believe like that? You could stop it by simply refraining from
making moronic posts, but your being a moron makes that unlikely.
Shutting the **** up doesn't seem to be in your vocabulary.

Sure, you can instigate an uprising against me, and all your legions
of friends will show up at my door with pitchforks. But first you'd
have to have friends. Then you might have to look at your compression
crusade. That's been pretty successful, eh? And your campaign for
everyone but you to stop posting words that you don't like.
Successful, eh? Sure, you're a natural born leader, and people do
whatever you tell them to do.

You can't just make up Usenet rules and expect anyone to care. Being a
dumb****, maybe you just can't understand. if you want to be protected
from name calling (you name caller), and bad words (you bad word
user), maybe you could go to a moderated forum where such rules are
enforced. Oh, but you've tried that, and you couldn't follow the
rules, so you were banned. So sad. The only reason you're here on
Usenet is because you can't be banned or censored here. It's OK for
you, but you whine when others do it (this is a pattern with you).

HAND. FOAD. FCKWAFA. LDYNDDREF. YWKMWFHM? SBDF! Don't those initials
just make your blood boil, and make that vein bulge on your forehead?
Now put your hockey helmet on and get on the shortbus for your ride
home.

John, Scott:

What I don't understand is why, even though not everyone
has agreed with everything I've said on the audio usenet groups,
this one individual seems to take it so personally, resorting
to profanity & hatred that I have not experienced from anyone
else in all of usesnet.

Its reactions would suggest that in someway I insulted his family
or something. Especially when I discussed the loudness war
or excessive use of compression: That really sent it over the
precipice! The problem seems to be more with it than with me.

You're no stranger to the F-bomb, but you have this screwy idea that
bad words magically become good when you put magic punctuation symbols
in place of letters. Pretty f*cking moronic, they're the same ****ing
words.

It's OK for you, but you whine when others do it (this is a pattern
with you). Have you detected the pattern?

By the way, you're supposed to be ignoring me. And tracking me, and
reporting me to your mommy, and identifying my coordinates and
ignoring me some more. All the while, ignoring me. And reading every
word I write, over and over again, while you're ignoring. You're one
H-E-double-hockey-helmet of an ignorer! An ignoramus, even. (I used
the magical "hockey helmet" so as not to scare you into thinking I was
actually conjuring up ****ing Beelzebub Beetlejuice and whatnot.)

No. "Electronic Grade" as in "non-corrosive", ie doesn't exude acetic
acid or other nasty things, like most silicone sealants do.

Who's "we"? You and that rat in your pocket? Is the rat "ignoring" me
too, by obsessing, stalking, starting threads, reporting me to the
shortbus monitor? How many ignorant ignoramus does it take to ignore
me? Just you and the rat, or are you going to write letters to all the
record companies' executives wastebaskets, too? Whatever you do, keep
"ignoring" me, and proving that you're sharp as a bowling ball.

Personally, I feel it's all marketing hype. While it (RTV) was mentioned in other forums, I have yet to find anyone writing, "Stay away from Brand X, it is corrosive!"

Welcome to usenet. It's been like that since it started. And trolling
won't be stopped, just as trolls always manage to keep trolling.

It's sad though, that the quality of trolls has dropped so much. We used
to have experts like Roger Carasso and Richard Sexton who could always find
something new and innovative to push peoples' buttons with, now we are just
down to guys like Agnew who really only have one theme they can troll with.
They just aren't as versatile as the guys from the golden age of usenet.
--scott

Ahh... Yes! Usenet was a rocking place back in the mid 90's when I got
online. A place where you could get good info on just about any
subject you could think of. The exchange between the trolls and their
fire breathing opponents was classic! Asbestos underwear and hi tech
flamethrowers were the order of the day. Kill files were considered an
essential tool. I was introduced to 'critical thinking' by a true
artist. Life was good. :-)

Kill filter can be rendered useless. You just write about the people who used them, maybe fib a little and it would burn them up when someone else replied who wasn't filtered.

I enjoyed [text] chatting about music, but someone would posts a ton of threaded MP3s into the non-binary group. I'd report them and, boy, others became angry at me. It told me what decent people really are in usenet.

What killed usenet wasn't trolls, but the uncontrolled spam. Many a newsgroup, even this one, often had a klan of regulars, strangers unwanted.

I see you're still ignoring me to the extreme. I feel righteously
ignored, and by an ignorant ignoramus. It's almost ignominious You go,
girl, ya' big ignorosaur!

Restarting a dying thread is the perfect way to ignore me, as you have
discovered. Why is that you can write "f*ck" and "sh!t" and you're not
a potty mouth, li'l buddy? How the **** do those magical punctuation
unctuations work exactly? Can I call you a d@mbf^ck? It's not foul
language, kiddo. Per own example!

Waste of a thread I guess...

Yeah, well nobody's surprised about that. Look at who started it.

Now get outta here, back on the short ignorasaurus bus. The wheels I
ignore go round and round, round and round ...

No. Regular silicones like RTV exude acetic acid while curing. This
kills metals used in electronic components.

Just yet one more thing that you have an opinion on, and not only know
little about, but resist learning.
