Genelec 1030a woofer cone repair
In article ,
John Noll wrote: The rubber ring that holds the woofer cone on my Genelec 1030A's has separated a little and is creating a buzzing sound. The replacement speakers from Genelec won't be available for several weeks. Has anyone had any success gluing these back together? Any tips for type of glue or technique? Try a little silicone RTV. It won't be permanent, but it'll be fine for a temporary repair. For a permanent repair, you'll want a urethane cement like Shoe Goo or the 3M weatherstrip adhesive from the auto parts store. --scott -- "C'est un Nagra. C'est suisse, et tres, tres precis." |
