Can anyone help me what is iso354 ?
I got an order to set up sound in a hall, the client said the wall within the hall complies with iso354. So what does that mean to me ? I need more power or what ? |

I need more power or what ? I think that ISO 354 just gives rules for measuring how much sound bounces off a wall. Here is a pdf with some detail of a room that was measured in Sweeden: http://www.snowcrash.se/products/pdf/Soundtest.pdf I think the guy is just telling you that they did put some sort of sound dampening stuff on the wall so the room wouldn't be so "echo-y". I would ask him what exactly they did put on the wall and how much it changed the sound of the room. Good Luck. |
