High-end car audio
I am going to buy an Infiniti G35 Coupe. I would like to put in a
high-end audio system (including multi-disc changer) since Infiniti only offers Bose, which I do not like. Because of its shape, it looks like it might be difficult to replace the display and still have it look nice. Does anyone have any experience with this? Also, what is a good website for reviews of high-end car audio manufacturers and information on installation / car acoustics? Thanks, Patrick |

It should be easy based on my experience with an Infinity I-30. Reconsider
changing the sound system. The Bose on my 99 I-30 sounded great. It seems that Bose Car audio is way better than their Home audio. I am guessing that with their home audio, they spend their money marketing for a crappy product, and with car audio it seems they do the opposite. "palpatine" wrote in message om... I would definitely NOT consider Bose car audio high-end. If the Infinity
Bose systems are anything like my Nissan Maxima, then they are incredibly low-end. From what I've heard though, not all Bose car audio systems are as bad sounding as the Maxima systems. Not to say that Bose car systems aren't good enough for some people, but if high-end is what he's after, then he'll probably be very disapointed. Tony -- What's more likely? Maybe not all bose systems are bad, but trust me when I say that the Bose
system in the mazda 6 sounded so bad i couldn't listen to it on the test drive and looked to difficult to replace the display, so I didn't buy the car.
