I'm considering these two floor-standing budget two-ways, and I'm
wondering if anyone has experience with them:

Athena Technologies AS-F1

Wharfdale Diamond 8.3

Also in the running would be similarly priced Paradigms (Monitor 5 or
7), so any comparitive insights are appreciated.

Wharfdale has in the past received alot of bad press.
Whether it was seserved or not I can't say.
I've worked with some of their 2 way studio monitors and found them to
be fair in quality.
Many may contradict me and that's fine as I don't know the specs
precisely nor have I benched any, just used my ear.
