Hello, i used to have two diamond m6's and a diamond amp but they got
stolen, now i looking for a cheap sub/amp combo around 250-300
ebay/used pricing. I thought maybe mtx 8000 for subs but i open to any
ideas. I dont have much room for a box either. Please help a newbie out

If you don't have much room for a box and you don't want to spend a lot, why
on earth are you looking to buy multiple subs? What's wrong with buying
just one?

I used to have 2 subs. My current setup just has 1.

There is a track on this CD that has the coolest effect on the subs if you
have two of them. It really works over a single sub and it's not able to
do the effect.

Track 7, "Jus 2 Kep Yo Attenchun" from 1:53 to 1:58 in the track.

with less power then my current single with more power.

You don't need two subs for that. Only one will suffice. Humans can't
sense directionality very well with sub-bass, so there's no need to put a
sub on each side of the trunk.

A single 12 can do everything 2 12's can do, assuming the power handling
is sufficient. I suspect the problem you're having with just one is that
you're reaching the power limitations of the driver, thereby introducing
significant power compression and therefore limiting your output. If
trunk space is an issue, buy a single DVC 12 that can handle gobs of
power. If stereo is what you're after, run one channel to each voice
coil. I've only got one song out of over 6000 on my computer that has
stereo sub bass.
