A Seinhowser Headset fits without an adaptor, but won't plug into
the TV at the gym.
That IS an important concern, yes, it is not possible to do serious audio
production work without being plugged into the tv at the gym.
And the Seinhowser, sounds pretty good, but when you listen to
Tchaikovsky's
1812 overture it breaks up
It is not always the transducer that distorts when distortion occurs.
Additional options to consider are the ears and the playback device and most
certainly pre-existing distortion in the track you play back.
