Default Audiophile Headphones that will work with the Mophie Case on the Apple 5s Case

The problem is that 3.5mm plugs are rarely long and narrow.
And for a good reason. The plug wouldn't be as sturdy, and
the torque on the jack would be greater, increasing the chance of damage.

The plugs aren't what need changing. The designers of accessories need
to work around them, as well as other features on the device they are
designing it for(cameras, microphones, etc.).
Of course, I get flamed for stating simple common sense...

Being an anti-business socialist, I normally take the consumer's side. But in
this case (pun intended)...

The problem with making a hole wide enough for "any" plug is that it might
weaken the case. My iRiver H120 came with a real leather carrying case and a
short adapter to allow headphone with "fat" plugs to be fitted (as the Brits
would say).
