Would any of you esteemed audio greats happen to know what the Alesis
Masterlink error code "hd error 177" means? After I hit the power switch
the OS doesn't load and then displays that error code after a minute or so .
My guess is that the hard drive is dead. I e-mailed Alesis and got the "you
can't fix it.... send it in" reply. Any wisdom would be appreciated. (It's
one of the first generation Masterlinks with the small hard drive.)
