John prefers that his magazine's contributors simply be
deluded, rather than be crafty opportunists like Mr.
Greenberg.

Ironically, given that Mr. Atkinson must certainly be aware
of the fact that many of his reviewers spout claptrap during
reviews and thereby mislead readers, and given that his
impressionable and often deluded readers very often like to
read claptrap and be misled and would cancel their
subscriptions if the magazine took a more rational approach
to evaluating wires, amps, and CD players, just how is he
more ethical than Mr. Greenberg?

Perhaps he keeps those phonies on the payroll, because
without them the magazine would lose subscribers.

Of course, I could be wrong about all of this. Maybe he is
as deluded as those contributors.
