Back in the 70's, I enjoyed Van's "Blue Money" song, but it sounded poor in audio! Why? Even on FM Stereo radio. Amateurs recording engineers, mixing, too?
So I find the CD album with this song in the cheapo bin. It was totally boring to me, washed out sound, etc..

Then, they offer the 2015 Remastered album, I thought it was a joke. Really! Van's MoonDance album sounded pretty nice when remastered. Most likely have the session tapes for it, could have been remixed. But it sounds first generation master tapes were used.

Same with his "His Band and the Street Choir", better tapes were used, but still foul sound. So, I felt, I could improve what OTHERS get paid to do.

Now I hear sounds and detail I never, ever heard before in this song! Granted, little "stereo" content (like 110 degrees of 180 available stereo area), but blame that on others....
