I see Royer now has a R-122V Vacucuum Tube Ribbon Mic for around $3,000
USD. Now let's see, the Nady is going for about $350 USD. I guess you
can say you get what you pay for, maybe, maybe not? Hmmm?
Also any opinons on Royer's Woodpecker Active Ribbon Mic? At a list
price of $1,300 USD, It looks really slick, but a ribbon with a wood
finish....Yikes!!! I guess you'd have to wear gloves and only use it in
an air tight enviornment?
