Correct. There are 2 versions though, only slightly different.
The second model ( "phase 2") was sold in small quantities in the USA
as well, but rebranded CXA and not affiliated with Citroen:

Sander, your CX has headlamps that I had thought were only used for the
US market (due to US regs mandating "sealed beam" headlamps in effect
at that time). I'm sure you can set me straight on this. :-)


BTW, your CX is a great looking car.....so *very* French.
