Me mischievous? Why on earth would you think that? Actually, as Arny
points out below, there are some low-cost universal machines that
might be good choices for the OP. Surprisingly, some of them have
received praise on RAHE. The OP could then use the money he saves on
the player and invest in $1000 power cords, speaker cable, and
interconnects needed to achieve audiophile nirvana. :-)
