It's too little for lots of people. Try to find a good auto mechanic to
work for that kind of money. Hell, even a good car audio installer. Look,
the going rate is what it is. If they've got people coming into their
store/shop willing to pay them $50/hr, or whatever it is (usually it's not
that linear), then why should they cut you a half price discount for coming
in there and bossing them around like an asshole?
