As far as I know, most Usenet sites these days run it.
It puts more load on an incoming news server, but it
takes a lot of load off the outgoing one.
Apparently individual.net (the university-operated
NNTP service in Berlin) uses it, but Supernews, the
big commercial operation here in the US does not. :-(
