Unfortunately a lot of people have experienced discomfort listening to
CDs,
especially early ones on early equipment and his theories were as good as
any
others back in the 1980s. Now we know a lot more about jitter and digital
recording,
It was all known back then, just not always implemented. As for the
"discomfort"
of CD's, I've had a lot more discomfort from the noise and poor fidelity of
LPs.
